About Me

I’m Anna Larkin, a Media and Engagement Advisor at Southern Rural Water in Maffra, Victoria.

Since 2018, I have been a Cloud Student at Deakin University working on my Bachelor of Communication (Digital Media). I am now hoping to transfer to Swinburne TAFE to do a Bachelor of Design (Communication Design).

I have made a variety of videos and podcasts and have also worked on social media campaigns and print documents. I want to move to a Bachelor of Design because I think my design work lets me down. I am interested in learning more contemporary approaches to design and to presenting information such as infographics, 3D, animations and interactive web design.

My studies enrich my life and my work. Having always used Facebook, I am now able to use Twitter to communicate in a different way both at work and in my personal life. I have my own web page and also edit a WordPress web page for work. I have used programs such as Canva, Notion, VoiceByte, Audacity and Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, Illustrator and Animator to develop new content and thoroughly enjoy the process of learning by doing.
